GIGI ART OF DANCE COVID-19 RESPONSE POST
CURRENT SITUATION: Updated 21st July 2020: After five months in lockdown, we are preparing to reopen the studio in August! There are various promotions coming with the re-opening, and only adult classes will be open. Kids classes will continue online as usual until schools start physically again in 2021.
This is a page detailing the updates, responses, and changes in rules and regulations in Gigi Art of Dance following the spread of the COVID-19 virus. This page will be continuously updated with the most recent changes in official stance and rules from Gigi Art of Dance. Updated Thursday, 2nd April 2020: all classes fully running through online platforms and open for registration. Registration fee is waived for the entire April 2020. Physical studio under quarantine by local authorities.
Updated Thursday, 19th March 2020: all classes are held on temporary online platforms via Whatsapp or Google Hangout. Studio is closed and locked, with further cleaning inside.
Updated Monday, 16th March 2020:
- Artistic Director, Mrs. Gianti Giadi, releases an official video statement.
- All exams are canceled and delayed until further notice.
- All classes during Monday 16th March-Friday 20th March are canceled and replaced with temporary online classes.
- Classes on Saturday 21st March will be confirmed if it will run in studio, with replacement online classes ready to go.
- For the rest of March, classes will be staggered between attending in-studio or through online classes in order to reduce risk of contamination further. The following schedule is in effect.
- Classes in April and May will be separated further into 1 in-studio class and 3 offline classes, further information will be spread through a special handbook for students in the course.
Updated Saturday, 14th March 2020:
- Gigi Art of Dance will undergo cleaning and sanitization process on Sunday-Monday, 15th-16th March 2020.
- Gigi Art of Dance has also released an important handbook detailing all the latest and urgent updates in regards to the COVID-19 spread. The handbook can be downloaded here.

- Following the break of the COVID-19 virus spread into Indonesia, Gigi Art of Dance announced special rules in effect throughout this period.
